03. Construction of Metaled Road from Shumaila Public School to Dawlance Factory Qazafi Town uc-7 Quaidabad (1.28 km) in DMC Malir Karachi.

The existing Shumaila Public School (single sub-arterial road) to Dawlance Factory Road is very important road of access to all residential community living around the road including Qazafi Town, Askari Town and Zafar Town.

04. Construction of Metaled Road at Road No-6 Commercial Area to Rehri Road UC-5 Cattle Colony (1.54 km) in DMC Malir, Karachi.

It is observed that the present situation of the road is in dire need of rehabilitation and giving the proper linking roads and utilities facilities for functioning of carriageways. Considering the requirement for road work on the existing road, the District Municipal Corporation (DMC) Malir is planning to restore and rehabilitate the road to facilitate to the local residents and workers of the area, as the road is also being used by the various workers of the Gul Ahmed, Younas textile and Dawlance Factory.

05. Rehabilitation/ Improvement of 4400 Road from D-Ka More (7000 Road) to 5000 Road New Karachi, District Central.

The proposed sub-project is located at New Karachi, District Central, Karachi. It is a dual carriageway having a length of about 0.45 km. It serves the educational institutes, shops, commercial plots and houses situated along the road. There is no safe pedestrian movement and stormwater drains. The street lights have been damaged & non-functional. The road profile is undulated and results in accumulation of water at low spots after a rain.

06. Improvement / Rehabilitation of Rahman Baba Cricket / Play Ground . Uc 20 - DMC West.

The Sub-project is located in the Rehman Baba Stadium, Sector No. #4, Hanifabad, Orangi No. #5, District West, Karachi District West, Karachi city. The sub-project location falls in a densely populated area surrounded by residential and commercial areas, providing a recreational facility to the local residents of the Orangi No. #5, Karachi. The playground has been used for many cricket and football tournaments, which highlights its importance and significance for players and users of this facility in the locality and beyond.

07. Rehabilitation of Haneef Shaheed Park/Playground (Shaheen Ground) including peripheral road along boundary wall on each four sides UC-02, Jamshed Zone, District Municipal East, Karachi.

The proposed scheme is the main access road for all the people living and doing business in the area. Due to lack of proper periodic repair and maintenance, the road is in a dilapidated condition and there is a need for rehabilitation of the existing road and provision of the necessary allied road infrastructure like road side furniture and utilities. The access to Hanif Shaheed Park is also through this peripheral road. The road is connected to Jinnah Road, a collector road of Manzoor Colony, which that joins with the main arterial, Shaheed Millat Road. Therefore, its rehabilitation will improve the accessibility and connectivity of the local community not only to Hanif Shaheed Park/playground but also with the other areas.

08. Lal Sport Football stadium Shanti Nagar UC-23 near Jama-e-Masjid, Bait-ul- Hamd, DMC East Karachi

The Lal Sport Football Stadium is located in a densely populated area surrounded by houses and provides a recreational facility to the local residents of Shanti Nagar, DMC (East), Karachi. It was previously known as “Dalmia Ground” due to the then Dalmia Cement Factory which existed in its close vicinity in the past. In this football ground, there is a huge space that will be improved and rehabilitated.

09. Improvement/ Rehabilitation of EID GAH ground / Football Ground - Korangi 03 . DMC Korangi, Phase I, Package A
